This Saturday, March 9, Sufia is offering a space and process to gently explore the wisdom of our grief. This session is a part of Uniq Explorations, a queer community healing series being offered by various facilitators at Radical Healing from March-May, guided by Pablo Robles.

For this first Saturday of the series, we are offering a Queer Grief Circle followed by The Gifts of Grief session.

Through the use of heart listening, guided reflection, and simple ritual, Sufia offers a process that allows guidance from our bodies, wisest selves, and the medicine of a plant spirit to come through. We’ll be working with the flower essence of Mimosa, a potent grief support plant relative. We’ll learn a bit about flower essences, about Mimosa, and connect with the spirit of the plant to receive its energetic medicine.

Bring a journal, and a mat or blanket to lay on. This is a masked, sliding scale event.

The Gifts of Grief session immediately follows the Queer Grief Circle, and is designed to help you integrate anything that comes up. Come to one or both.

Grief Circle: 1-2 pm

The Gifts of Grief: 2:30-4pm

Bring your snacks and fuzzy socks, and come spend the afternoon being held in queer community.

Logistics

This is a masked event. Please bring a journal, a mat/blanket, and anything that will help you feel cozy in the space. There will be chairs available if preferred.

We’ll be meeting in The Movement Space at Radical Healing (the back of the white building with a pink triangle). There is parking by the building as well as street parking. Accessibility note: The Movement Space is accessible on the side entrance. All Radical Healing buildings have a lip at the entrance door which should be regarded for safety.
