About the event
It's my birthday! I'm on an intense healing journey, and I'm grateful to celebrate Spring's emergence. My wish this birthday is to share healing space, doing some of the things I love most: deep breathing, exploring embodiment, eating vibrant foods, and loving on people.
Come celebrate with me, and join me for an exploration into making space in our bodies, our hearts, and our lives for the gifts this Spring is bringing. I'll be offering some guided grounding practices, gentle movement, and meditation/journaling as a way to access rest and the wisdom of our bodies. adé* will be offering a 20 min live sound healing session for presencing your mind, body, and spirit. We'll plan to start the seated portion at 4:45 pm and then hang/eat after, so arrive early to get settled into the space.
I'm raising funds for my medical expenses and in support of a fellow community member's healing care (our beloved Nnedinma Umeadi). Please share and bring your people (invite them to RSVP for the event), and donate as you're able.
Event logistics:
- It's a potluck y'all, I invite you to bring a gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free (ingredient labeled)** dish or snack to share.
- Bring a mat or blanket to sit on the floor, a journal, plus your fav fuzzy socks or whatever will help you be most comfortable in the space.
- In order to create an environment of care, masks are requred for the indoor portions of event.
- Perfect Lovers has both an indoor and outdoor space, food will be outside. There is an accessible ramp and entrance at the back of the building.
